My friends loved the specialty cocktails like the mango mimosa and also the martini. ![]() The wine list is short but they are good wines and have the types everyone would want. Not like the incredible cake that I've had a Conch & Bucket or made at home. This was more like banana bread with a sweet glaze, not a cake. The icing was supposed to be a cream cheese mango but it was more of a mango glaze and one of my friends couldn't eat it because it had nuts which weren't noted on menu. It was cooked well, but not something I like. Actually, I should say it just wasn't what I expected. For dessert, I got the hummingbird cake which was not very good. I also had an appetizer which was the mango shrimp. My entrée was the salmon and it was cooked perfectly! The entrée and sides went very well together and were presented beautifully. The owner came by to make sure everything was up to our satisfaction. The servers were very friendly and prompt with service. I was not expecting the wonderful meal and service! I heard it was good, but this was excellent. The first time we tried to go, it was too busy so we made reservations the second time. This is a new restaurant to the area and our monthly dinner group picked this place. If you're not into crowds (I'm not) call ahead and ask if they have any days/times with lighter traffic. They said they do have a private reserved seating area for large groups and events upstairs. The place is very small so there is limited seating and I don't recommend going with a large party without calling ahead. My tea, grits and bacon was basically perfect. ![]() I ordered grits with cheese and a side of bacon and the grits were also seasoned perfectly, soft and creamy. OMG, the tea!!!!! The tea was PERFECT and addictive! They need to make it by the gallon and sell that stuff in stores hun. We ordered breakfast to go and their Mango tea. Since we were ordering to go, we were seated at the bar. My husband remembered that the ladies who were guests on shark tank for their Mango preserves opened up a bistro in Hampton so we wanted to stop in for csrry-out brunch on our way out of town but ended up going on a special event day they have once monthly with live jazz and a buffet.
